Well perhaps not humourless but she would have suggested I wait to say heads up play till he was deemed ok

I like Russell. Making a little bit too much, but he's important.

I've stopped being bothered by his cap hit. He seems to go in cycles season-by-season. One year he's great and seems to ride percentages; the next everything's going in and he's getting caved. Regardless, him in that situation gets better results than the alternative in that same situation and that's all I'm asking for outta of that spot until Bouchard.

Officials have swallowed their whistles completely. So many missed calls on both sides.

Colorado, Minny and Dallas all lose and we can't beat Arizona at home to gain some ground.

If this is how these guys play in a game this big with playoff chances seemingly almost on the line I don't think I'm even interested in seeing this group in the playoffs.

This group is not going out to war for each other every game. They don't lay it all on the line. This group doesn't deserve playoffs.

Barely beat Frorida and now this. By the time Klef is back it'll be too late.

I saw an Oiler team playing with plenty of effort last night. What I didn’t see, was the requisite skill required to turn that effort into actual results.

Lets face it, we have 3 legitimate top 6 forwards in McDavid, Draisaitl and Nugent-Hopkins.

After that we have 3 bottom 6 forwards in Khaira, Chiasson and Rieder (arguable).

And after that we have a metric poop tonne of players who (based on their play this year) should be chasing the Calder Cup in Bakersfield.

I won’t even bother delving into the blue line.
