Think ill try making some bison burgers on my bbq. Question is where yo buy the best bison product. I doubt any of the brands are 100% bison and I'm not sure how much of that info they declare on the labeling.
I know Safeway sells some. Never tried any freezer packed store bought brands tho - SMBDragon
Best thing you can do is get a hunting licence and PAL and hunt your own game. Fill your freezer. |

There are a few local Bison Farms in the Cariboo. Sometimes they escape around Green Lake and Lac Le Hache. Ran into a small herd once when I was moose hunting and was like "what da fuk?"

I've got a .270 Tikka short mag I took moose hunting up to Manning AB (a few years ago) and all the Alberta buddies were saying we're not coyote hunting. Until....I came across a nice young 50" bull (good eating) and killed it with one shot.
Mooose and Elk meat are awesome!! |

He scores at a lower rate in the playoffs. Aside from that you need guys that can get you to the playoffs before you start worrying about guys that perform in them. - golfingsince

My Elk rifle is a Kimber Montana 270 short mag(WSM). It does the work and is so nice and light to carry. Elk are much tougher to drop than a Moose unless you are after the far north moose. Elk run like the wind when you hit them. Moose typically drop or stagger off and drop nearby.
Edit: My father and I had a handful of Tikkas in 270wsm, 270win, 30-06(Ithica made Tikka), 243(one of my predator rifles), 280 Rem, You can see I'm a big fan of the 30-06 class of cartridges. I even had a wildcat in 6.5-06 Ackley Improved chambered in a Pac Nor match grade barrel on a T3. Loved forming my own brass etc... |
