It's crazy how under the radar Jeremy "Career AHLer" Bracco has become among fans. I've a feeling if he was on another team, (say Timpa Tampa), there'd be a lot more hype surrounding the kid.

I love all the "he's not very good defensively" jive talk in here, like they even watch out of market games at all or even care to define what "good defensively" means.
- gravyface

This.

Then they say the stats are lying and compare them to Gardiner with not being good in his own end ....but don’t even realize that Gardiners shot suppression isn’t very good. It’s everything else that’s up there.

Somebody needs to set up a Melander points watch website.

I don't watch any games. I form my opinions based on what Aetherial, Fake, UG, and Prince tell me. It's worked quite well so far, I must say.

I've never once seen a game that doesn't involve the Leafs. And when the opposition have the puck, I close my eyes.

Someone told me the other day there's 31 teams now.

- walshyleafsfan

Its crazy, i heard they have this thing called the internet where you can watch out of town games, or see indepth highlights from other teams.
Its nuts if true.

He’s a good young forward. A lot of people put the top 6 or bust label on him but he’s improved leaps and bounds on his two way game.

Kind of reminds me of what people kept saying about Kapanen years ago.

True Wedgie story:

Got home from hockey tournament yesterday afternoon. Took my dirty clothes down to the basement - basement stinks like stale piss.

Franking dog! She's 15 months old now - should not be having accidents in the basement.

I yell at her to come down to the basement. She arrives looking very sheepish. I look around to find the puddle, so I can shame her properly. I can't find a puddle, or even a wet spot on the rug.

And then I realize: it's my hockey equipment. My equipment stinks so bad, it smells like stale piss.

Sorry, doggie.

Good.

We don’t have to hear fans whining about losing another veteran goalie to waivers.

I thought kap would be a decent 3rd or 2nd liner.
But his speed has surprised me. Im glad he looks like he can be more than i thought.

His hands caught up to his speed which makes a huge difference.

Grabner is a guy with blazing speed but no hands...kinda makes me wonder where Kaps ceiling is.

on a similar path as Kapanen, around a point a game at age 21 in the AHL.
that generally projects as an NHL player.

But thats what the Leafs are doing well now, churning out NHL talent by slowly developing prospects. can keep putting young cheap players in the lineup and move out ones that are getting too expensive

Because listening to dimwits claim he's trash is quite amusing.
Wait, wait, wait. Matthews is only signed til the end of this season. Are you telling me he won't be a Leaf next year? I heard—correct me if I'm wrong—that if a contract expires, they can sign a new one.. with the same team even. Ain't that something?

Willy is Leaf for life. Just saying that, whether it's true or not, gives Uggie nightmares, and I love it.

Monday mornings are so trash. I'd gladly watch the Habs, Bruins and Senators alternate as cup winners for the next 20 years for a million dollars.
