The whole sentence should have been:

Playing Folin, then inserting MacDonald and Lehtera into the lineup instead of calling up the best prospects from the AHL is tanking. "Bias for action" has already become a joke. |

Weal barely could describe what he brings to a team lol - arichardson22
Not a lot, perhaps, but he brings more than Varone does. Trading Weal and leaving Varone as an everyday player is more tanking by Fletcher. Which is fine if that's the road he wants to go down in this lost season, but I'd like the media to be honest about what's going on. |

What’s the story with Elliott? Is he going to be back this season? If so, would that mean a demotion for Hart?
It’s been nice watching Hart play and he looks like the real deal.

Hey fellas I have some bad news to share with fellow Flyer fans.
Jordan Weal's family is from the area of Saskatchewan that I do a lot of travelling to.
A buddy I have there says:
Jordan Weal's Uncle said that Giroux and Voracek are the problem. Coach has zero control over them. Weal asked for the trade. Nolan PAtrick wants out as well. Weal says that Giroux is a total bumhole on the bench and in the dressing room. - jduran10

So someone told you that the brother of a parent of a player that was recently traded to hockey purgatory (Arizona) and who had trouble getting a permanent lineup spot on the team with the worst record in the NHL said that the best player on the team is a jerk?
Moving on... |

I think Hart is here to stay. At this point I don't think they're factoring in Elliott. If they can get him back to split time with Hart, great. If not, it's Hart's crease. |

I get what you are saying.
But as we have already seen, this atmosphere, the culture, whatever you want to call it, has pretty much sucked the life out of every young player on this roster.
Personally, I don't want to gut the minor league team and let the losing mentality spread further down the line in a futile attempt to win some games.
Leave everyone where they are and start anew next season. Let the Phantoms remain competitive and allow the kids to play in a winning environment.
Now, that could all change if they have a firesale at the deadline, but I see no point in bringing up Myers, Friedman, etc just so they can struggle at the NHL level for a useless half season.

Keep this in mind: during the first year of his Phillies GM tenure, impatient Phils fans were calling Pat Gillick "Stand Pat". What he was actually doing was assessing from top to bottom what Ed Wade had put in place and then he made moves. I don't know what Fletcher will ultimately do and how well it will work. I do know the plan is to be aggressive in aiming for NHL-level success next year. What that will actually look like, I don't know.
Also, the best prospect-- Carter Hart -- was already called up from the AHL. Myers will probably come up at some point as well. |

Varone is a better player than Weal in my opinion. That's why Weal is.gone and Varone is still here. |

Knee is fine. Believe it is a hand/wrist injury that kept him out this weekend. |

Eagles showed a lot of hart. A remade secondary, no running backs (Sproles is a step to slow to hit the holes). With the amount of injuries, they showed a lot of hart. |

thank you,
hope he can finish the season strong.
With both him and Laberge having injury issues, being drafted in 2016, just bad luck for the Flyers. The 2016 draft might have been showing dividends for the big club. |

Good one! - arichardson22 I'm sure he meant the other team's players being better around him as he coughs up pucks and gets out muscled by them consistently.

For something to look forward to,
I think we do get a look at Morin when he gets healthy due to waivers? |

He’ll probably start a rehab stint in LHV in mid Feb so he should be with the Flyers by the beginning of March. |

As soon as anyone starts a sentence with "Someone's Uncle or I know the family and they said..."
Clear indication they have a thumb jammed in their hiney hole, spun around too quickly and are dizzy. |
