I once sat next to family friends of Brandon Manning at a game. The husband tried to tell me why he didn't think Ghost was a good NHL player and then I explained to him why he was and even went so far as to say Manning shouldn't be playing. He said I sounded like I knew about hockey and that he would take my word for it on both accounts lol. So sometimes family/friends of players just don't know poop.

Also I bet what that poster said was a complete and utter lie and that his account looks like a troll account. Also weal does not have nearly enough clout to ask for a trade like seriously? And NoPa and TK are best friends and they both attended Gs wedding and looked quite happy. Don't think NoPa is going anywhere

I wouldn't be surprised if a marginal guy like Weal asked to moved somewhere so he could get more consistent ice time. I'm sure that sort of thing happens occasionally.

You underestimate Nico quite a lot.He can be as good as Philip Forsberg or Martin St.Lois in Best case .Just don't think Devils are the right team for him

At least recently amac was day 2 day and could have played and we have been home or close by in NJ. Dont think there was a concern for a full on recall.

Hey fellas I have some bad news to share with fellow Flyer fans.
Jordan Weal's family is from the area of Saskatchewan that I do a lot of travelling to.

A buddy I have there says:
Jordan Weal's Uncle said that Giroux and Voracek are the problem. Coach has zero control over them. Weal asked for the trade. Nolan PAtrick wants out as well. Weal says that Giroux is a total bumhole on the bench and in the dressing room.

Nico probably falls in to the same tier as Vasili Podkolzin this year, Patrick probably around a better Dach.

Myers isn't called up because MacDaddy is still a better player than him, but we as fans are more willing to see the kid make mistakes and learn from them because his potential is much better. We know what Mac is and it's annoying when he makes mistakes that vets shouldn't make, but when he is truly fully healthy he is in the flyers 6 best defenders and if the flyers are trying to ice a winning team (which they still are, which kind of makes this whole thing sadder), AMac should be in the lineup. However, this being a lost season I would prefer to see Myers in just to see what we have in him but again I understand the logic.

Also Fletch is probs trying to pump up the value of Folin or Mac to try to get something, anything for them in a trade for my a team desperate for d help
