Chiarelli though...
And if you’re making a comparison to us:
1) no one wants to trade a 1st for a guy that won’t be here long term (at least i don’t)
2) idk why u keep acting like all 1sts work out? - jdfitz77
I don’t think the guys that we would like to acquire with those first rounders are available. We are much better off keeping them imo. Who is looking to get rid of 21-25 year old top 6 forwards/top 4 d-men ? |

Ok. I have. And for your response to make any sense whatsoever, I still need an explanation.

We didn’t lose to the ducks 5-1 this year beat them both times, thinking maybe sj with the 5-1 score. |

Rakell id move a first for but I doubt they move him. Silfverberg is a nice player but a UFA at the end of the year. He’s also 28 and unless it’s a short term deal then buyer beware. |

Ondrej Kase is exactly the kind of guy we ought to be looking at.
He has been taking advantage of every opportunity that has been placed in fron of him, and the more ice time he gets the more he produces. $2.6M/year for the next three years.
This is the type of guy that screams "hockey trade" if the Ducks are looking to move a forward. |

There’s no use arguing “was ROR a valuable piece on this team” because people have their minds made up.
And your evaluation of ROR is mostly legit issues - how did he play; what was his salary; did he get along with other players in the room; was there a power struggle with Jack? I ask all those same question in evaluating ROR, and for the locker room stuff, I don’t know the answers.
But this crap about “he gave the same answers all the time” is just as I said. Silly.
There was no other answer he could give that wouldn’t have thrown somebody else in the organization under the bus.
And I agree with you that Jack gave the right answers on Saturday NOT blaming the refs. - Der Kaiser
I think the problem is ROR acted like an automaton and never deviated from the script. You could play any post-loss presser after any loss and they'd make sense.
It's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation, but he could've at least switched it up a bit.

Well that’s an important caveat
I certainly don’t want ya to trade for scrubs like Coyle- not a 1st for him anyways
He’s a 3C at this point
And if a 2C is “replacable”
Then we certainly shouldnt be trading a 1st for a guy like Coyle

So they're not moving Rakell, or Silfverberg, or Kase, or Getzlaf, or Perry, but theyre moving somebody.
Who's left?
THat's why I'm saying its got to be a hockey trade
