With the way the cap is trending, 4.5M is becoming more common for good middle 6 players. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Sutter's not really a "middle 6" player. He's strictly a decent bottom 6 player.

They truly are the type of players you love on your team but hate on the opponent's team.


Brady got too much hate during this past draft, I wouldn't have been upset if the Canucks selected him but preferred Hughes/Dobson. Liked him over Wahlstrom/Bouchard/Boqvist. People kept ripping on his production, but his sh% was too low for a guy with his talent.


And at this point, there isn't a single sane Canuck fan who would take OJ over M.Tkachuk. Let's just hope OJ can become a decent 2nd pairing offensive dman.

Fighting is on it's way out in the NHL not much anyone can do about that.
