I don't know if you guys know this, but Dale Weise currently lives on the same continent as me.

A friend of my mother-in-law knows a guy used to drive the Flyers zamboni, and I have it on that authority that Dale Weise getting waived is due to that jerk Giroux, which is why Nolan Patrick wants to be traded.

i would say life and psychology aren't as linear as you are making them out to be. we aren't privy to the frequency of talks, the talkee or talker's state of mind an the moment conversations happen, etc. But its great that everyone realizes that coaches can help players, and players can help players and players can help coaches.
