Why does Hamonic keep getting mentioned as a missed opportunity? Didn't he say on the record he only wanted to go to a western Canada team? Your solution is a malcontent player? |

Jake can't play forward, just get him some help and move Zaitsev to the 3rd pair or #7 for awhile.

Hyman AM Nylander
Johnsson Tavares Kap
Marleau Kadri Marner
I'd like to see this for a few games before sending Nylander to the minors forever |

I don't either. Muzzin is still very effective from what I've seen and the numbers' don't lie |

I don't know, but until he gets traded he needs to be on 1 of the lines. |

Why O why, do we pretend that we can compete for the cup, and as such, lose out on acquiring assists? The Leafs have a very good team but let’s be honest, we are not ready to compete in the war that the playoffs become, to the point that we can win the cup. Last year we should have acquired assets and traded Bozak, JVR, and Leo. This year Gardiner should be used to acquire assets at the deadline. Then we bring up some Marlie D and give them some play time. With those assets from what should have happened last year and this year, we would be in a much better position to make a serious run. The window for winning the cup is short and u need to go all in for a particular year or two. All the Leafs are doing is setting themselves up to be competitive for 4 to 6 years, but never really a serious contender. |

When you put it that way, it makes me remember all the years Mats Sundin didn't have any wingers to play with... |

To be fair, Muzzin is my 3rd favourite Chinese player |

Oh, I imagine there are a lot of options available. Just hard to find one that will help. Luckily we've seemed to focus a bit more on D the last couple of drafts. |
