Is Kyper an insider? Because i'd hope Dubas didn't want to do a Marner for Tanev deal either. - walshyleafsfan
Did he ever say that? Generally curious. Don’t remember that at all, figure I would if it was said. |

I really don’t believe that he said Leafs are considering trading Marner for Tanev. Yikes |

He was using his insider knowledge to out 2 and 2 together to make 5. Didn't actually say they are considering it. My point is "insiders" aren't that much clued up than some people here. Most people here would make a half decent "insider".
I mean John Shannon is still waiting for the Luongo to the Leafs deal to be announced any day now. |

Doesn't seem like him or Reimer can handle much to be honest. |

Leetch was the dominant force in the backend during the playoffs.... probably why you don't remember Zubov (who was pretty important too, let's be real).
Young Kovalev was awesome too. |

He did say Marner for Nurse one for one though. - ClarksonDavid
We should do that. Despite Nurse not being great in his own end and having questionable decision making traits, he would fill the need for the Leafs trying to find a dman who's good in their own end and not having questionable decision making traits. |

Truth is, we could use more defensemen that question whether or not to make questionable decisions |
