Is anyone still questioning his conditioning? Sprinted up and down the ice like three times in a 70 second shift and still had enough to blow by Gio.

What matters is the final score . not how you play the game . Nobody cares about how you played a year later. let alone a week later |

In order of readiness to be called up
-Guhle
top4 talent but has struggled some
-Dougherty
could be a 3rd pair/depth RH guy
-Borgen
solid defensive defenseman, maybe top4
Not yet in Rochester
-Laaksonen (Finland)
puck mover trending upward each year
-Samuelsson (W.Michigan)
another defensive type, top4 talent
-Bryson (Providence)
small offensive defenseman, fringe NHLer
-Linus Cronholm (Sweden)
another stay at home type, depth guy - jdfitz77
Thanks for this. I didn’t know Dougherty or Cronholm, and was surprised to see Bryson’s name still out there. |

Was at the game, I can’t beleive he missed on those two all alone.
Not his best game but he came through when needed.

You can tel he’s pressing right now, maybe this will kick start him and get him rolling again.
First time seeing 26 live, he is going to be amazing. |

Dougherty was a 1st round prospect who we should’ve drafted in ‘14 instead of Karabacek
Acquired him for Baptiste from Nashville
Has been steady for Rochester
Just about ready to be called up
Cronholm was just drafted this past year in the 4th round
He’ll play in Sweden a couple more years
Then join Rochester & we’ll see how his development goes
Bryson was drafted 2yrs ago in the 4th i think
Has been playing really well for Providence
But he’s really small for a defenseman (5’9),
so his NHL potential is limited |

I forgot about the return for Bapper. And in my mind, Cronholm got lost in the parade of D draft picks from last year. |

Laaksonen is our best defensive prospect. He is projected to be a top 2 pairing. |

If that turns out, what a freaking pick. Guy was on absolutely no ones radar. Way to scout! |

He was a steal. Here is a little write up. Best under 20 Finnish defender at the moment. Played top pairing in WJC

Mark my words. Oskari Laaksonen will be a top pairing NHLer. He was a third round pick for buffalo in 2017. He’s got all the tools for a modern day star. Puck moving, skating, hands, great at transitioning up the ice, can run a power play. |

Maybe lost in the glow of the Jack OT winner; keeping their poise and fighting back after the BS non-call of the crosscheck to Pilut’s throat. |

Nice win tonight. Jack came through when it was needed. I'll be at the Canucks game on Friday night wearing my Reinhart 23. The wife will be wearing Eichel 15. Hopefully Ullmark starts.
Go Sabres Go!
