If that's the case, the last line I like the best. We should look at teams like TB, SJ, ANA and NSH, teams that are up to the cap or their own internal caps, and see if we can be the team to scarf up some good, cheap(er) talent.

I just didn't see any posts by you. Not saying they weren't there, just don't remember them at all. You kind of sound like an A Hole, so I'd probably remember.

I think looking at the stats it was clear both goalies were playing over their heads (kind of like a sober Lehner is now), Skinner was shooting way over his career average, and ONE line was insane.

They're not as bad as you make them out to be, but they weren't as good as the 10 game win streak indicated.

Most people saw they were lucky, I don't think anyone thought the unsustainable top line production made the Sabres great and most people were calling out secondary scoring as a HUGE issue from the beginning.

Perhaps we were doing something you should think of doing as a fan, enjoy the ride despite knowing they were playing over their head.
