Yeah Johnson is the easy choice, very good but not high-end forward on a very reasonable deal. But that's a full NTC until 2021 so that's out.

Nope. Because by your standards, you need veterans for the tank. Zib is already signed. Contract is not terrible. Hayes is older, needs a new deal and might get 7 million or more AAV.

No, no, no sir. I'm resigned to the fact the some of the Vets will stay. Lundqvist, Staal, Smith, Shattenkirk and Zib. All have term and higher cap hits. Most of some type of close. Those are the Rangers mistakes (Staal, Smith and Shattenkirk.) So now they get to tank with. I don't want every body gone.
