Nylander has not been bad. He's been on the right side of the puck and contributed defensively as well, which is better than he's done most of his games so far. His skating looks good. His aim is off. He's pressuring. He'll get there. - Monkeypunk

I find a lot of teams do that with their PP these days....whatever happened to just shooting the puck? - RatedR80
I remember in days gone by when Ponikarovski, Antropov and Sundin were sent out for the shootout, and all would skate in, get tired by the dot, and just try and rip one top cheddar... They need to do that. But better. |

Yeah but people just gotta be fancy now....fancy play is more important then just shooting.....like last nights SO.....everyone has to try and be fancy....Chiasson of all people said (frank) that I’ll just shoot.....speaking of PP tho does Rielly have a hard shot or no?

It's funny 'cos it's true. And it's sad how much better that team was than the teams in the 80s. |

Jake Gardiner seems like one of the nicest guys on the planet. So its gonna suck when he blows the game and fans continue to boo him until he cries.
Jake, if you want to change how things currently are, go (frank)in run Yanni Gourde or something. Get us cheering FOR you again. Because your current play a step behind and if you don't change soon it'll only get much worse.
