I like Cagguila on that 1st line but he needs to play his game and quit overthinking his plays. That blind behind the back play on his scoring chance reminded me of Schmaltz.

Caggiula is a scrappy player reminds me of Shaw!

Well, with the different ways the goals have been going in today, I suspect we are due for a header.

I hope he headbutts the puck...... I think Shaw is a good comparison though.

On the ice for the goal against, 56 & 68. Got trapped in their zone. Glad Jokiharju is in the press box and those two idiots are on the ice.

I wouldn't worry about Jokiharju not playing here. He is probably off the table for trades. The goal is to sell assets here, and they have to play the tradable assets more if they want to get rid of them and get the best possible return.

Koekkoek has made a couple of nice plays today.

Gustafsson is who he is.

That goal was entirely on Delia.

The goal is to develop the assets who will be here going forward.

Jokiharju needs to play.

Ya. And looking to the future makes watching a game like this so hard. Gotta cheer da Hawks, it in ingrained. I have no choice. But, the truth is a lose serves us much better. A modest winning streak can take us from the first or second overall pick (and a difference maker in the build forward, who could contribute in the next year or two) to 6th or 7th pick....which is much more likely just a complimentary guy 3 years or more from now.

We don't need to finish 24th. 30th or 31st much better.

Go Caps???? urg....sorry......

Caps are a bunch of sore loser (additional ban worthy words.) Especially at Wilson, gigantic douche. Seabs coming in, great to see. Ovi, that was b.s.

4 on 4 hockey. Murphy, Keith, Seabs, and Kampf in the box. Plus, Ovi, Wilson, and Pelley.

For sure. He drew everyone and poked it over to 12 for a wide open shot.

Anyone who knows sports knows that winning hurts nothing. The idea that you turn off the switch to lose and think it will set you up better to eventually win are absolutely crazy.

The NHL today is the most competitive league ever. The margins from top to bottom are razor thin.

The tone around here is that if you were in an elevator and gave a wink and nod to a handful of players, they would all be like...yeah...we are trying to lose to get better. The best you get is laughed out of the elevator, in the old days you would be have your ass handed to you.

What some have not connected the dots on is why Q is gone and how it happened 2 years too late. You lost a handful of guys who would be great here now. The hawks are learning on the fly to play a style that allows them to compete in the league. Man to man fast paced hockey. See Paul's posts.

Instead of focusing on the prospects and potential picks and what any hockey greats sperm may one day become, embrace your team and the effort and energy you get with them every night.

Put to bed and keep to PM the lose on purpose BS...makes the board look more like a fantasy board.
