They should try Gustafsson at wing cause he for sure isn't a D-man. He is a total mess defensively. 3 on 1 and he vacated the middle of the ice. Guys stickhandle past him like he is a pylon. If someone makes an offer for him, take it.

Sure, forget Q. All I want is for the Blackhawks to have a qualified NHL head coach. Colliton isn’t it.

Anyone pinning for Wilson on their team, please watch him? He is not a good hockey player by any means, and if the refs had a backbone he would spend more time on the bench because the team couldn't afford all his penalty time.

And yes, if Q was the coach, Joki would be playing first pair, Gus would be a 3rd pair PP specialist, and the team would have a significantly better record.

Please explain the awesome qualifications that Colliton has to lead one to believe that he is a qualified NHL head coach. Is it the 6th and 7th place finishes in the Euro second tier league? Or taking the Ice Hogs to the conference finals, after the Hawks sent down some NHL reinforcements. Plus, he still lost.

Really. Tyrants love the loyalty of subjects. In case you did not know, Q was the coach the last 2 plus season of water pouring in over the bow. And even if Q was able to win a few more games, his style and strategy maxed out with an 8th seed playoff spot and a 4 and out...and head shaking as to why that happened.

The organization from ownership to GM know/knew this and it is why this change was made. And it is why you see the style change. It is why now after 2 years we finally see some compete with this team. Finally a little blue collar.

Colliton is a sign of progress. The NHL game has changed. Unfortunately, coaches are not hired by referendum vote by a teams fans or union delegates.

Colliton has won as many stanley cups as q had when he arrived...they have that in common.

Very true, I'm impressed with the kid, based on his post game interviews he wants the reps at this level saying it's the only way I'll get better. Im sure those 2 goals he'll review and realize what he's doing wrong

Yeah, he's another Kane in the way he wants to study and get better. After one of the wins (I think), he talked about studying the tape to understand why he let in a couple so he never does it again.
