Look at the October/November Calendar and reflect on those games.
The Tampa game giving up 33 shots in second period...that says it all.
Now we have a power play. Now we have a more gritty team that plays hard all game. - TrueGrit
I’m in agreement that they are playing better now that in October and November. They are more engaged and entertaining.
I just don’t understand how anyone can say they were a .500 team under Q at the start of the year.

Strome with 1G 2A and DeBrincat with 1G 1A. Saad also with a goal beating 4 guys barreling to the net. A goal in the last 3 games. |

LA good from 57 yards, win in ot. What a kicker......
I predicted a Saints win. Hope my Chiefs prediction is wrong too! Let's go pats! |

Saad is the Hawk that frustrates me the most. His goal in the 1st period was dynamic. Pure power move with excellent puck control and a great shot to finish. Then he just disappears and seems lost for games on end. |

In typical NFL fashion, refs blew game for Saints with 1.30 left.... |

Yeah, really good. Kind of wanted the Saints, but mostly just want good games from here on out and this one qualified.
Makes the Parkey miss a little painful all over again. |

Should have given the Saints a new set of downs instead of 4th. |

I didn't get to see it, on a food run for my gramps. What was the call/non-call? |

Great game, I didn't think of Parkey because LA's kicker is good. Let's go pats! |

I didn’t care who won this game, so I am comfortable saying the Saints really a, really got screwed on that call. Probably another situation — which I think you see more often in the NHL — where the refs didn’t make a call because they didn’t want the game to hinge on one of their calls. But. It. Did. |

Pass interference. Ball was at least a yard behind the defender when contact was made. Saints could have scored a TD or at least run the clock down a lot more. Awful call, obvious. |

Rams player ran a saint over about half a second before a pass arrived on 3rd down play. One of the more blatant calls. Instead of a first down for interference around the 10 - 15 yard line, saints had to settle for a FG, which the rams matched on their ensuing possession to put the game into overtime.

You will see their WR mugged before pass on third down. Penalty call gives a new set of downs. Saints run clock to 4 seconds and chip in a field goal. |

Thanks. Wtf, refs! I hate hearing when a game hangs by a call. Thanks also to Grit and Spec! |

No doubt...
Completely blown pass interference no call, and after a year of rinky dink "roughing the passer" / blow to the head calls, the refs take a pass of the hit to Brees preceding the interception.
Way to F' up an otherwise entertaining game. |

The most obvious pass interference ever that wasn't called. The Saints should have had the ball on the 3, and they could have basically ran the clock down before kicking a field goal to win it. Instead, they had to give the ball back to the Rams, and the rest is history. |

Waiting for Scottak Jokiraju to come back from posting on the Rams board about what their young coach McVey did prior to being hired to deserve the job.
Give him a couple of minutes. He is on a Richard Vermiel rant.

I thought of that too, but I don't think that should have been a penalty. That pass interference though... |

Wasn't my point at all. Both the Rams and Saints were beatable even at home. Go Chiefs. Get some new blood and would rather watch Mahomes. |
