IOW his scoring tonight could be described as a fluke?

As much as I hate NHL reg. season OT rules, scoring first in OT works. But the NFL is just a different game and a full quarter with a timed ending would be preferable IMO.

So be it...

Now I hope NE beats the crap out of LA...the undeserving bastards.

Crappy game when you consider cheering for a team which too often gets to the final. The only team that gets to the final regularly whom I cheer for is Chicago teams.

Except for the BS phantom roughing the passer call against the Chiefs, I thought game 2 was a much better officiated affair.

Saints got hosed completely.

that was like

brady still had the ball whne the chief defender wacked him on the shoulder pad...

Well the Oilers top D-man Nurse is -3 and Manning is +1.
- breadbag

Nurse is their top D-man by default, though. Klefbom is their best D-man but he is hurt, Again.

horrible missed call...the ball and defender did not arrive at the same time...

football is about what you can get away with; holding every play and the chiefs got away with obvious pick play on their big pass play before scoring; pass rushers are suppose to stop in mid air or get called for roughing

Is there a sport where officiating is actually fair? I am fairly certain there is not as bad a problem in hockey, though, as in baseball with umpires showing up or sticking it to the players on pitch calls. What a shame sports denigrates itself with inability to properly officiate.. But I suppose it is as unfair as court system and buying influence in society at large. We are left gaping at the "it is what it is" adage. "C' est la vie.

Additionally: recall John MacEnroe, the vociferous tennis star of yesteryear, infamous for "you've got to be kidding!"

Loved the game yesterday versus Washington. ESPECIALLY the standing up to the chippy bullpeep the Capitals tried.
