Because you say so or because you suspect writers would say so? Both of these things mean nothing just because you said so. I wish you the best of luck as a wild card team? You sound a little upset. Is it because you realize what you’re saying is kind of ridiculous? Knew that would happen eventually. Remember when I said Okposo wasn’t a power forward when you guys signed him on this thread? Yeah me too. Enjoy your weekend my inferior team will most likely gain another two points on Sunday. - Cptmjl
I do, I also seem to recall you said he couldn't stay on his skates, I don't know, maybe because of Girgensons, but I rarely see Okposo falling. Pre-injury he absolutely was a power forward, just not a great one. He also had a devastating head injury and is a shadow of his former self and probably shouldn't be in the league, but thanks for playing. |

Most of us absolutely destroyed Murray for making that trade. Very little thought Lehner was great. And he wasn’t great here.
I’m happy he turned his life around and is atop his game. It’s a good story.
But the way the Isles are winning is unsustainable.
They are shooting at an incredibly high % and getting ridiculously great save %. Both eventually will regress. I mean, didn’t you guys score 3 goals on just 5 shots in the first against Jersey? - sbroads24
I think I might be the last person on the original Lehner train, and by train I mean I think he's an average NHL starter. |

That’s potential top 3 d man. He’s not even close to there yet. Eichel is also playing great this year but until the Sabres get over the hump of even making the playoffs it’s all for naught. Who knows maybe this year there’s still time for them to get it together.
As far as comprehending what you were saying I honestly didn’t get the gist of your post initially. I couldn’t think of an equal trade from another team for both of them off the top of my head. A lot of talent there. - Cptmjl
I don't necessarily disagree with what you're saying, but the Isles wasted 9 years of a top 5-7 player in the league due to gross mismanagement. The Isles have been the epitome of pretty awful for the last 25 years. They have one series win in the last 25 years. The Sabres haven't exactly lit the league on fire with 11, but they do have a Cup Final and 3 Conference Finals appearances. No fan from either team is in a position to judge the other. |

JC, I finished my shift at work, went grocery shopping, drove home, put the groceries away, took the dogs out, did a load of laundry, shoved a couple burgers down my throat, rubbed one out, took a dump and then a shower and we're STILL TALKING TO CAPTAIN ISLANDER ABOUT HOW GREAT HIS TEAM IS?!?!

So is this the Sabres bye week? Or did they just get a weird 5 day break before the All-Star break? |

When was that? Not when he was an Islander. Guess he developed into this power forward when he became a Sabre. |

Keep reading. I also said he wasn't great at it. He used to bull through players with the puck, and keep his skates. It just didn't turn into much most of the time. He was the opposite of a perimeter player. I really feel like you just stopped reading. As I also said he is now a shadow of his former self after the injury and probably shouldn't be playing. Before it I was ok with him, he was overpaid, but so is most every UFA that has any kind of buzz. |

My job required me to do something post adjusted. Yeah agreed they all get overpaid but he was never that good. Certainly never a power forward for us save for one playoff game against the Pens. He was given that label inexplicably he certainly didn’t earn it with us. |

Marble Madness! Master Blaster was also great. I hated Mario 2, it creeped me out. Ripoff Tetris, I mean Dr Mario was cool too. Mega Man 5, Castlevania, Zelda and Link in the gold cartridges. - Wetbandit1
I missed out on SNES

But I heard he is capable of 60 goals between January - December
In all seriousness we know he is a streaky player. I was always a fan. |

Giving him 7x7 was insanity. That contract will look terrible by year 4. If they win the cup this year, then it's obviously worth it |

I’d rather have Skinner myself. I just noticed he had a couple of goals tonight so I wanted to check his season stat line. Thought it would be an interesting post. Kane, Skinner, Hoffman, Tatar. All traded between last years deadline and this years All-Star game and all will score 25+ goals this year. Finding wingers isn’t as hard as finding top 4 RHD. |
