If they get the deal done and it's signed before the TDL he will most likely get a 7 year deal.

I don't think that's a huge deal killer if I am Botts.

Seems to be same situation as Bailey. He's an NHL tweener. Good in the AHL, can't hack the big leagues yet if ever. Both teams hoping for more from their respective acquisition.

I thought we could convince someone to give a bit better than him for Bailey, but it is what it is.
