Rochester out shooting Lehigh 35 -15. and loosing.....

We need to find some goal scorers in this years draft, we are woefully short in finding goal scorers.

Rochester must have the same PP guy coaching them too. 0-6

I’d rather have Skinner myself. I just noticed he had a couple of goals tonight so I wanted to check his season stat line. Thought it would be an interesting post. Kane, Skinner, Hoffman, Tatar. All traded between last years deadline and this years All-Star game and all will score 25+ goals this year. Finding wingers isn’t as hard as finding top 4 RHD.

I wanted Hoffman bad. I wasn't sold sold on Skinner at all. Glad to be wrong about skinner

I take umbrage with that statement, and consider it both a personal indictment, and a reflection of your poor moral character. Let's fight

I think Botts will be turning over 40% of the roster this offseason. Pominville, Moulson cap hits off the books. I’d be disappointed if Scandella, Sobotka, Elie, Wilson were here next year. Girgensons, Larsson, Beaulieu are RFA’s and Beaulieu already wants out. Should have enough money to go shopping that’s forsure. I would like Ryan Dzingel out of this years crop and Kevin Hayes also interests me.

I just want this fixed...ASAP. Im tired of losing... I've had enough. I just hope Botts is the right guy, and I hope to god they bring someone in to fix the PP.... No way they should be as bad as they are.

Edit Roc tied the game 2-2...

Botts played a huge role in Pittsburgh and I haven’t been a fan of any of their moves since he left so I guess that’s a good sign. The fact we are in contention for a playoff spot with this many premium draft picks is also a good sign. Botts is doing everything right, it’s honestly up to the amateur scouting staff on the draft end, and his ability to further get out of contracts that are hindering us.

Mark Stone would be my number one priority, as unlikely as it may be.

This team is not competitive

We have no one who can finish

Only 2 players who can even step up late in the 3rd or in OT to tie it or win it.

Mediocre goaltending

Horrible powerplay

And this has been all season, even during the 10 game win streak

We will finish bottom-10 in the league. Book it.

Did you watch the game last night? They played well. They made a few boneheaded plays that cost them. It's not a bottom-10 team. They are so much better than the past five years. If you don't believe that, you're not watching imo

We have high shot totals in both the farm and up here

We clearly dont have goal scorers.

Too many perimeter players and too many low percentage shots from said perimeter. The Reinhart goal in Vancouver was excellent but I have no faith we will see that ever again from him.

It took over 4 years to see it in the first place. And he is absolutely useless away from Eichel.

You really are a homer and its endearing but they skate in circles and make bad decisions constantly. The excuses always amount to "they're young, etc."

But thats just it. They are excuses. They dont compete - they keep up.

You can look up the advanced stats - they dominated the game. Yeah, Pilut in his first season in NA made a terrible decision that cost them dearly. All of the stats back up what I'm saying - the Sabres played well last night. A few terrible decisions did them in. If you can't see the difference between last night and the tank years, then you're just jaded

They are better but it's not hard to be better than dead last. while they can play well there is just not enough skilled guys on this team (right now). playing well and losing is an improvement over last year for sure.... but we need some big pieces to play with teams that are cup favorites.

Well I don't agree with you on Reinhart... but that's okay. He's a piece we can use... But I do agree we more guy that aren't perimeter guys.... And the first guy I think of when I say that is Nylander.... we need to use him in a trade for someone that's NOT a perimeter guy (which he is).

No offense, but this is a broken record.

We all know this. Botts knows this. It's going to take more than one off-season to complete this roster, and YOU know this.

It sucks. 8 years out of the playoffs. But allow the man to build this thing RIGHT. A rash decision isn't what this (I hate this word) process needs right now.

that play Pilut made actually doesn't bother me nearly as much as all the guys skating free on the goal line with nobody around them, scoring tap in goals. It's not (frank)ing hard to find the guy going to the net and go to him, yet we can't seem to learn that for some odd reason. and it's not just the young kids doing it....

I never said anything about nor compared this season to the tank years. So get right out of here with that crap.

Advanced stats are for anal-retentive wankers who use them as a metric to defend mediocre teams.

Stop putting words into my mouth.

where did I say we need a rash decision? I've been VERY clear that I wouldn't trade any first rounders we currently have. and building this right is a lot harder when your picking 10-20 than it is when your picking 1-5.... He's going to have to find more skinner deals, or sign a guy.
