I think I told the story once here, but I still remember when I went to one of those pancake houses in New England

They would serve the pancakes with an ice cream scoop of butter on them...and since the plate was hot, even if you tried tossing it on the side, it was melting and mixing with the syrup. We ended up asking for an extra plate to throw the extra butter on.

The fat family table next to us were giving us weird looks.
