Great for Demko. Great for the Canucks. Great for the fans.

More narrative busting points for the Canucks. Another narrative busting piece of the rebuild. This place has always been my favourite source for sports fiction.

Demko seems to be in the perfect scenario. He can be the backup, spend lots of time refining his structure, and they can be choosy about when he plays

Next year he can split duties with Markstrom and then take over

I like the progressing. I thought Sven and Leivo keep improving , as painful as it is to say Loui has had 3 good games. Jake had a good game.

Meh, if they go 50-30 next year and either bring Markstrom back on a 2 yr deal or let him walk and find a Halak/Hutton/etc. type for the same role.

I'm sad Jake isn't scoring but he's becoming a bit chippy which is a nice welcome change. If he can sorta be like Rousell that way it'll help him be more a presence when he isn't scoring.

I'd really like Jake to get reps on the PK. Even if its cleanup time late.

If we get Quinn in the line up this season... what a indulgence for the prospect hungry fans. EP, Gaudette, Demko, Hughes... it feels good... I got to tell ya.

I think 30 to 35 games next year for Demko is about right. It's not the same for everyone though, he may steal the show, injuries, you never know. Love to see him play well. Always liked that pick by Benning.

They developed him nicely!!

Didn’t they turn his brain to mush by tossing him into a cargo container and flying him to Istanbul after a severe concussion ?

I strongly disagree, yet confidently agree.

Edmonton is where good prospects go to bust.

I think 10-12 games is the sweet spot this year for him.

Green, and Clark, both seem to really believe in practice time more than any coaches I can remember in town. Don't remember hearing so much about how they set "deadlines" to get players into the lineup based on whether they got a practice or two in.

Clark seems like a huge practice guy as well. They basically used Nilsson only to spell Markstrom when they thought he got sloppy and needed a couple hard days to get his technique back. And apparently Clark and Demko were going bananas in practice to get him ready for the game.

They did learn from their mistakes because they made OJ walk to LA to check out his knee . No more planes for injured players.
