San Jose are my cup favs. They have playoff performers and haven't hit their peak potential. TB has the goalie but the skaters are stronger than any other group IMO

I am all for the Flyer doing things that prevent them from becoming a better team, i.e. NOT trying finally get a good goalie or trade players they can go back and re-sign in the off-season to bolster their futures.

It is really a shame that they were able to buy out Bryz . If he were still under that contract this would have been the second to last season of it (at $5.6M). I keep waiting for them to unmask Gritty and find out that it is Bryz underneath, collecting a second paycheck from the Flyers.

That's all well and good but if Rinosaur watched the Flyers game tonight against Montreal he'd realize how ridiculous his statement is.

I don't know if you realized or not but uhhh... Carter Hart looks pretty good.

Why does everyone say the Flyers should trade Giroux? He has a NMC. He is not going anywhere.

Flyers dont need any big changes. Carter Hart has exceeded my expectations. He has shown he is ready for the NHL. Flyers have their goalie.

Simmonds should be traded because I think he is over valued.

The D can be left as is. The main goal on D is to wait out AMac's contract. Gudas has been great this season. I would like to keep him but would consider moving him if the price is right.

On forward we are trying to remove contracts of Lehtera and Weise. Lehtera is done after this season. Weise will be dealt with cap retained. Raffl is a good bottom 6 player but he could be dealt by the deadline.

This team has struggled because there young players havent been able to contribute. For the majority of the season Lindblom, NoPa, Konecny, Ghost, Provorov have looked awful. That is 3 of our top 6 and 2 of our top 4. Sanheim stepped up and has played good but he has had a couple bad cough ups that lead to goals against. Aside from that Voracek, Simmonds and JVR looked awful as well. Not to mention that the Flyers starting goalie and backup goalie have missed most the season due to injury. Two waiver wire pickups did little to help, Lyon didnt get much of a chance(1 game), Stolarz stepped up and ran away with the starting job but it wouldnt be a 2018-19 Flyer season if he stayed healthy so he got hurt as well.

Voracek was a guy who tried to do everything himself and turned the puck over. Simmonds looked uninterested and turned the puck over any time he touched it and JVR took a shot off the Knee, missed a decent amount of time and didnt look good since his return.

Past 3 games though looks like a switch has been flipped. The young guys are contributing and are playing great. Voracek simplified his game, Simmonds is playing better and JVR has been on a tear.

This is just a season where everything that could go wrong did go wrong all at once. This team should look sell on players that are FA, even if they are playing well now, I dont know that even a 2017-18 Florida stretch run can save their season. But they do not need significant changes.
