Not to pump a kids tires before he even plays a game, or set unreal expectations, but It wouldn't surprise me if Hughes gives similar rookie production to what werenski did. 8-10 goals and 40-45 points. Assuming he gets PP1 time and plays top 4.

Youve been talking about how soft this draft is for weeks, just like you and many others did about the petey draft.

He has been passed by the likes of Goldobin and Gaudette, will likely get passed by a Dahlen or a Lind in the future.

This is why they should trade Edler, Tanev, Sutter...everything that isn’t nailed down. So that if Lind becomes the next Gaunce but Dahlen becomes the next Gelinas we can still lose in the finals again

I must of missed the hubub, but man watching Demko firsthand... beyond impressive. Buffalo dominated possesssion right from the start, looked like a AHL team with the exception of the Horvat line. Stecher is a keeper imo, smart decisions the entire game and bailed out Hutton mire than once.

I am sorry that you don't understand English . I have not used the words soft, bust,weak, or bad . I said it is a draft I would not tank to go get a player . I said I will gladly take whomever we get , but go ahead and keep makinging things up Jerimiah .

For the record get your facts straight . I never said the Petey draft was soft in fact right up to two weeks before I was always promoting Glass . About two weeks before I knew they were going after Pettersson so I accepted it.

Lind is not the same style as Gaunce . He plays harder and some agitation. Right now Gaunce is a better points man on the Comets but lind is still so new to this league.

I really hope Canucks are looking at making only one or two changes a year and not 4 or 5 . Demko has put in his time and hopefully is ready.

Next year I hope Gudette and Hughes are the guys being promoted but I know I don't want too many or you are back to starting over.
