I have to say, I think the people that say this draft isn't very good are wrong. The top 10 in this draft is strong.

To me it looks a lot like the 2017 draft.

I don't expect much past mid 2nd for good players in any draft which I think this draft has. It may not be spectacular but it's not bad,

I enjoy the people that now want to stick to the same plan that they complained about for the first 4 years of JB tenure.

I always wondered if in 2010-11 season if Van would have went after someone better than Chris Higgins, would that have changed anything.

He is learning in the fly. Luckily he found some good support with Brackett and Johnson . Linden was a disaster and he was running the show more than anyone. Benning always needed his permission. Remember Benning wanted PK Subban and the first over all in the Ekblad draft but was halted.

Benning's message was always draft and develop. He's done that. He took care of drafting by bringing in Brackett and re-ordering the scouting. Allowing the players to develop by signing free agents.

Trade Duchene for a first( seeing they don't have one ) and a prospect and trade Stone for young prospects.
