So did Marc Staal. Liked seeing Howden on to kill a late penalty, same with DeAngelo. Three wins in a row into the break.

Howden was initially hooked down to the ice by Forsbacka Karlsson, which caused him simultaneously to lose the puck, leading a second or two later to Karlsson's pass to Heinen who scored the Bruins first goal. So Quinn likely didn't hold Howden as being completely at fault there, leading him to use Howden on that late penalty kill.
Also, Skjei's game has risen since being paired with McQuaid when he returned to the lineup. Besides his fearless shot blocking, you have to appreciate how McQuaid sticks up for his teammates.

I had heard someone on Sportsnet about a week ago mention that the Rangers believed asking price for Hayes was 3 assets, which include a 1st Rounder, plus either a top 9 roster forward or top 4 d'man, in addition to either a second roster player or another draft pick.
