Again, CBA mandates that it is off-time. The Flyers are not allowed to practice during the bye or the All-Star break. That expires next Sunday at 2 p.m., and this when the team will practice again.

Really? All the times I hear excuses how there is only so much time to practice during the year, they finally get a couple days and they aren't allowed. That's terrible.

That's ridiculous every other league allows practice during byes
- Tfaehner

I thought they weren't allowed to practice.

Not the NHL. No practices, no team travel allowed (even if the players themselves wanted to) during CBA-mandated schedule breaks and four off-days per month.

When of the worst run leagues in the world for dumb stuff like this. Was really hoping to see us clean up some things during this time off. Instead of getting fat and lazy.

You were right. I was assuming cause every other league was allowed Nhl was. I forgot how poorly the NHL is run.

That's not about the NHL running the league. That's a negotiated break for the players in the CBA. Not an NHL management decision.

They've had 48 games and how many months to clean this up? And you want to complain about a week? Stripes on a tiger don't change.

Yeah that's 100% NHLPA looking out for their players, I get that, but makes it even weirder that not all teams get this week off prior to the ASG weekend. At least the Flyers will have an excuse if they come out looking out of sync when they return.

I thought they changed it so all teams have the same by week this year?

Looking at the NHL schedule, there are games for Sunday through Wednesday.

Oh gotcha. Whoever said it on the broadcast a couple of weeks ago was wrong then. Either Bundy or Morganti

Honestly I would think if they are going to have mandated time off, everyone would be the same, but I am sure that decision was made as a business standpoint not a logical one.

Carter Hart happened. That's it. You know damn well they aren't winning last night and against Boston without him. Heck, might not even beat Dallas.

Gordon, Hakstol this team is what it is.

Exactly. This sub is bipolar. Three wins and it’s time for all hands on deck for a push to the playoffs!

The moment the conversation went from...the TEAM getting better to Hart is the only way the Flyers will win.

I just can't deal with stupid right now.

So you don't want the team to get better or win...got it. Sorry for caring about the team.

No there is no validility. Rumours have no validility. It is just word of mouth. That is what many dont understand about this site. They complain that EK just makes stuff up and it may be true BUT rumours arent predictions. Making things up falls under the definition of a rumour which is:

a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth.

Who starts the rumour is irrelevant. The dummy who posted Giroux was a problem in the locker room because he uncle or something is close to the team, that is a rumour. A rumour doesnt have to be true. Just like the sort of poop that you heard about people back in high school. They are all rumours, majority of them untrue.

I don't think, or at least hope, anyone in here is that delusional they are making the playoffs.

The point I'm trying to make is a week of practice isn't changing anything. Also, Gordon is an INTERIM head coach. So whatever system they are allegedly learning might be for not.

Who said ANYTHING about playoffs? Are you having conversations with yourself? Literally the first time the word playoffs was typed is right above

Week of practice isn't going to do anything...yup your correct. Guess when Gordon implemented a few system changes....3 games ago

So basically your argument is the team sucks, go Hart, what's the point...
