Plus it's Chiarelli. Definitely high risk with less than half a season in NHL and 30+.

I can smell the desperation...

He's going to make another huge mistake in the next month or so.

RNH, Nurse, Pujujaarvi... one of those guys gone for a Simmonds type, sans extension.

If he was smart (which he's not) he'd be gunning for a Ho Sang, Patrick esque young guy to put on McDavid or Draisitl's wing. Then move Yamamoto for legit D - go hard after Parayko or Muzzin.

Find a sap to take Lucic's deal too - Bury it in Detroit or Jersey, even at 50%, get rid of that deal. That alone might save his job.

I see Clyde’s boy Glughead had some more meaningful contributions in the game.

@Jesse
You know it’s going to be 5 things crap again. Lots of other good Flames info out there.

I wonder what's up. It wasn't always like this

This by itself makes too much sense for the the Oiler GM to execute - what a f*cking tire fire in Edmonton.

5 THINGS TO WATCH:

1) Mike Smith sucks
2)James NEal has gotten plenty of high danger scoring chances
3) Top line is feasting on opponents
4)Bill Peters against old team
5)Dougie's return to Calgary

There ya go guys, an in depth look at tonights game

Best Regards,

Todd

Anyone else here Walker's 'sarcastic player profile' this morning on the Fan? Wasn't actually that great, but the burn on Steinberg... jeez that was harsh!

I enjoy this site as it does not have as many posters as other sites like reddit where you have way too many people posting in general and its tough to have a conversation or as many blind homers as Flames Nation. I enjoy being able to talk poop with both Flames and other teams fans in a forum that is not as policed for talking poop.

Todd could definitely put more thought/effort into his Flames blogs.

BUT

In the end he is not a die hard Flames fan and has a life outside of Hockeybuzz so I cut him some slack.

If this was a paid site I would feel I have the right to female dog and moan about lack of thoughtful content but until a better option for a Flames blogger comes along Todd is what we have.

So we can run him out of town and be left with nothing. Or look for more in depth coverage somewhere else while still having a thread to come and tell each other to get (frank)ed.

On that note, You can all GFY! Go Flames!
