They could've, but they shouldn't have had to. They also would've had to score a TD to win. Facemasks get missed all the time. If your receiver gets literally run over without the guy even turning his head, that gets called 99% of the time.

I think they have West Coast scouts. And rarely do we get info on which teams they're scouting, so maybe they're scouting all teams all the time. You're right it would be weird on the face of it to go to Vegas to scout Pittsburgh, but I think there's a simpler explanation.

If scouts are at every game, why would anyone make a big deal out of these 4 scouts being there?

In any other game the would have been 3 flags thrown on each play, they were that obvious.
Why officials call games one way for 18 weeks, then decide to call it differently in the biggest games is simply beyond me.

He has focused on the D side of his game, at ghe expense of his offensive game. 8t is almost like he is in awe of other players...he needs to go out determined to dominate...let McCabe, Risto, Bogo, worry about the D side of it for awhile.
