Seeing it several times. I wouldn't have challenged it. Too close to really say
- senstroll

So after finding out the war rooms decision you wouldn't have challenged is what you're saying.

Babcock should've said the Nashville Predators challenge that goal for offside

Both feet inside the blueline without touching the puck. Wasn’t any closer than other we’ve had overturned

We all know if Toronto scored that goal it would've been called back. So dumb...
- LeafGuy89

Yep. And they would’ve got a penalty somehow.

That was close enough that Babs should've have challenged that... on the flipside, since it is that close, a penalty is kinda (frank)ing harsh.

I don't believe there's a conspiracy but the leafs seemed to be on the wrong end of a lot of goalie interference calls last year.

Cause it wasnt clear.
Puck was edge.

Has to be 100% clear

- Fakepartofme

When it showed the camera angle from the blue line it was even more clear it was offside.

Ahh well what can ya do..

It was clear on edge doesn’t matter is was a foot away from the blueline.

Brutal miss. Why have review “to get it right” and (frank) it up that bad on easy call

Challenge everytime imo.

The Leafs have had a handful pulled back that were just as close

- walshyleafsfan

Oh if it's against the leafs. Then yes challenge everything

Matthews looking good tonight. But because he hasn’t scored, the usual people will claim he’s been invisible.

They're on the wrong end of PP calls too.

Somebody posted a graph and because we haven't taken as many penalties, we're not getting as many PPs... so basically reffing is a complete BS popularity contest.

So when exactly are we replacing the zebras with robots?

Blue line view was obstructed and they didn't have a frame showing the skates in and the puck out. One frame had both skates and puck on the line next frame they were both inside. The call on the ice was not offside not conclusive proof to overturn it.

After watching the replay 10 times. It didn't look clear enough to see. Is what I'm saying.

I am just not sure how many views Babs had before having go make the call

Puck was on edge, you couldnt see 100% so they have to leave it as is.

The notion that one of the quickest most skilled teams don’t draw penalties is a joke. The leafs don’t take penalties so they don’t get calls. It’s assine.

The puck was a foot from the line, on edge is meaningless.

It was clear as day

Never.
We dont take as many penalties cause we have soft players who arent physical.
But seriously, the team overall isnt very physical or chippy....so less opportunity to get a penalty
