Need more grit and toughness. And character. Good locker room guys. Play the right way. Dump and chase. Go to the net.... I really have lost interest in this team.

No... I would never trade Geno. I was inferring trading Kessel if we could somehow pick up Mark Stone in free agency. Considering the reaction, I guess I should have been more clear. If we're gonna get Stone, Kessel would have to go. I love Phil, but I'd sacrifice him to get Stone.

I do think they could extend their window if they added some youth. 3 players I would never trade are Sid, Geno and Letang. Probably add Guentzal to the list too.

Yeah I just dont see Phil staying here long term. Getting younger/better complimentary players is the way to go.

Although Malkin was on a tear at teh beginning of the year but has sucked ballz lately. If thats the trend buh bye.

Great as Kessel is and has been, I'd be good with moving him. Probably better to do it in the offseason though.

Fact is, you have Crosby, Malkin, Letang and Kessel all on the wrong side of 30 and no one coming up in the system. Not saying you move him for picks but there are some really awesome players available right now.

Duchene, Stone, Panarin in free agency. No guarantee you can get one of them but it could be franchise altering if you could trade Kessel for high end prospects and sign one for free.

Panarin... Now we're talking. If rumors are true, he wants a big market on the coast.

Geno has 16 points in 13 games since the Christmas break by the way. So... there’s also that.

I have a couple of buddies with boats. I've gotten pretty hammered cruising the rivers. Unfortunately I was never able to get drunk enough to imagine the Mon river was "coast like".

As a Jets fan I just wanted to chime in and say congrats! It’s rare you can go on another teams board in here when they are discussing trade options with your team and read mostly reasonable offers and discussions.

For the record, personally I don’t want to move Perreault, I think his possession numbers and what he does for teammates makes his 4 mil salary totally worth it. I’m not a huge Brassard fan but also don’t want to sell the farm for some of the other big names available as reantals. So if the Jets really want him I’m on board with either Appleton or Tanev plus a 4th rounder (possibly a third) if that would work?

- Ross77

Thanks man. I think that’s something that works for both sides, especially if it’s a 3rd rounder but I’m sure others will disagree

This would obviously be unreal but could create a problem at 3C or replacing Schultz. Would you give Panarin $10MM for 6 years? Or is malkin at 9.5 our limit? What if we lost him over that gap

We don't have a snowball's chance in hell to land Little. He's their 2C.

If you can get him to waive his NMC, you can get him. Trust me. Little is already in compliance buyout territory

Just listened to some of JR's radio show. Not a happy man. That's about as crusty as I've ever heard him. Really pissed with the NJ game.

He’s been in decline for 3 years now. I don’t really blame him for his performance, as he’s in over his head now, but he hasn’t had chemistry with anyone but Perreault for a while now.
