Sitting Pominville for Elie and pilut for Scandella/Hunwick/Beaulieu blows my mind. His system isn't bad but his decision making on player personnel is brutal to say the least. Unless he is purposely tanking i dont get it.

Botterill needs to move some defensemen so Housley doesn't have the option to play them over Pilut.

It was, because at one point I saw that the 4th line had over 7 min each and the 2nd line had about 4

But isn’t it a coaches job to DEVELOP these young players?

As painful as it seems at the time...
Pilut sitting here & there or Dahlin not getting 25min a night is PROBABLY what’s actually BEST for THEM...

And even though that may hurt our team on a nightly basis...
doing what’s BEST for their overall development...
will be what best for us in the LONG RUN

Bc it’s a misperception that some of these youngsters are actually playing better than the Vets

I get that it’s frustrating,
but who has more goals...
Okposo or Mitts?
Okposo or Thompson?
Meanwhile, these Vets are trusted not to make the mistakes the kids are making

The kids also need to be DEVELOPED
Too much icetime/responsibilities can hurt them now & in the long run
