I mean technically, sure...but realistically based on production to date he won't contribute like many would think a 8th OA should. He is really trending to a career AHLer...unless he suddenly starts putting up PPG+ production

If Skinner was a 2nd and 3rd and some odds and ends. Toffoli can't be more than a 2nd. I might be persuaded to give up the lowest 1st+ for Toffoli and one of their young guys like Kempe, pipe dream I know, but I'm not giving up the first for a 26 year old having a terrible season that has only had one good season and brings nothing other than scoring a few goals. At least Evander Kane could skate and hit people when he was cold.

I like Toffoli, but he’s going to either be mediocre in which we overpay(on the trade to get him), or produce and we get to pay for his UFA contract for a late twenties player.
