Personally, this is the last year of tank talk from me but for good reason. This team is mediocre at best. I’d rather flat out suck then be mediocre. I’d rather suck then try to rush a playoff race only to hurt our team when we have the kind of roster to be in the top percentile of the league.

See edit, I looked at the wrong column, he ended up with 47 his first year as a Sabre, still nothing like 3.5 ppg to start. He ended up with 81 points in 185 games with the Sabres.
