I created the thread. It's 2019 any and all that encompasses that 2019 NHL draft. Mocks, Rankings, Where you think players will go. Who's a bust, who's underrated. Who you want the Canucks to pick.

Point being we can’t debate someone’s mock. A mock is a mock. It is what it is based on a ton of criteria the author used that we couldn’t possibly assume. Rankings can be debated because all rankings should obviously be listed BPA - because they’re (frank)ing rankings.

I have guys like Brink, Rees, Poulin, Konovalov, Seider (‘til his recent 🚀), etc way higher than avg tho so I’m totally fine with people being high on guys based on their own criteria - but like, within reason.

There are many many reasons why. One certainly is the Knights factor of stellar players. Over a ppg on a deep team not playing crazy minutes or always getting first PP time.

Everybody says his hockey IQ is insane. Scouch said that he looks like he has a second gear in his skating but he didn't really need to use it often. Also said he looked a bit disinterested at times during games.

All of those things to me sound like a player that if he gains strength, he gains more speed, if he tries harder he's going to be more involved.

So you have a player that is top 10 in CHL scoring for draft eligible players that sounds like he didn't really try all that hard. Think about if he did try or got to play 30 minutes a night like Peyton Krebs.

Heard he was the fastest skater at the CHL top prospects game.

Everybody talks about him as if he's an incomplete player and that's why he is so far down in the draft. Yet his comparable stats are the players projected in top 15 in this draft who seem to be more complete players already.
