I do hope the Hawks asked Seabs if he'd waive in much the same way it was proposed they talk to Keith: "would you rather be with a contender than going through this rebuild?" After what he has given the team, that's the respect he deserves even if the point of the discussion is the same.

I think it's cool that he said no to waiving it. I'm glad he wants to stay. They way the team is playing lately, I have hope for next year. Like Duncan Keith said yesterday, what does rebuild even mean anymore? Bad one year, good the next. Add a few guys and who knows what could happen.

What would be the effect on the players if Colliton switched to zone coverage, LW Lock or whatever. Do some veterans loose respect or does that not even come into play?
