I think they have said all along they are not looking for rentals and are not giving up top draft picks . I think it is pretty clear that they are in the market for a top 6 forward and a top 4 Dman but it has to be a good deal.

I also think it is pretty clear that they want to move on from some players , they feel they have some young players ready to step in.

- VANTEL

Hopefully they hang onto their youth, Juolevi, but trade the likes of Sutter and Gudbranson for draft picks.

Good article for Forbes , Carol. Brassard to CBJ (Interesting) . I wonder how many UFAs like playing for Torts or in the small city of CB.

Roussel: “Philly is a nice place to play. A lot emotions and the fans are great and they’re going to dislike us — even if we only play there once a year. It’s awesome. It’s going to be a good game because they play an up-tempo game and I think we can beat them.” #Canucks

Haha...love this guys passion. I thought he was French Canadian but he's actually from France, go figure.

Roussel brings an element we have been missing for awhile. Basically since the good days of Burrows. Would be real nice to see Philly's winning streaked wrecked by the Nucks.

Panarin and Boborvsky basically tell us that 'why stay if Torts is here' attitude is alive and well in CLB. The team is going nowhere and Torts' coaching style is more than archaic. Can't blame players for wanting out of there.

Flyers are much the any other middling team, they've been getting good goaltending so like the Canucks they've been winning. They still run around like a headless chicken and they have continual defensive breakdowns.

Could go either way.

Totally agree with this. Could be a very interesting game to watch as both teams on similar paths right now.

OT?

Didn't help, Carter Hart is why they're winning. Team needs a shakeup badly. But man Hexy did a great job on the draft floor, they've got some great prospects and young players.

Not trying to stir the pot but I honestly don't know what path Canucks are on. Some weeks they look all pro taking it to the limit with some big teams Nash Bos TB Cgy and other weeks they look terrible like the week before the break.

13 game losing streaks then win 7 of 10. I honestly don't know what type of team we are.

I see Goldy getting a bit of leash. How did he look vs the Avs? Obviously Green was happy enough to give him another game, but what would Don think?

If the Canucks could afford to lose players to injury and stay relative like some of the other powerhouse teams, I wouldn't care as much, but Baertschi has played 22 games this year... 22! Kid is made of glass.

i probably shouldn't assume, there hasn't been a statement. I think it would be too optimistic to think trade, and more realistic to think injury.
