You are thinking correctly. I think Kane has just continues to learn and refine his skills and has learned how adapt his skills to better work with his teammates rather than just using his considerable skills at his own unique level.

with a win tonight, the Blackhawks get closer to a playoff spot. Edm, Ana, and Ari (all at 51 points) lost tonight, and now Chi has 51 pts too.

Edit: Van, Min, and Col all lost too. LA , STl won. the west just got tighter.
