I know your opinion of Perlini. Where do you place Sikura in relation to him? Just needs more time, or just good enough to be a solid AHLer.

I think Sikura will be a NHL player. Needs a year to learn the pro game. Sikura is already far better defensively and imo, has a higher hockey IQ than Perlini.

Keith, Seabrook, Murphy and Dahlström should all return.

Gustafsson should return, but it’s not certain.

I would expect Jokiharju to return sometime this season, for good.

One (or possibly both) of Koekkoek and Forsling will be gone.

Maybe the Hawks take their time with Beaudin and Boqvist, but I suspect Mitchell will sign and play, most likely in Rockford to start.

For the future of the hawks hopefully not they are not a playoff team or even close to contending for a cup yet. Still need a stable top 4 dman and top six center or rw 2 or 3 physical bottom 6 forwards with speed and scoring ability and figure the Crawford situation out. Now with some creative trades and free agents signings and draft in the top 5 it could be quick turnaround.

Thanks. Perlini always seems to lose control at exactly the wrong moment (like immediately after he beats a defenseman).

I just want to see effort, which they have been doing, and lines gelling, which they have been doing.

Either way Ott was in a bad spot, Tkachuk or first overall next draft, and they made their choice. What's up with Colorado though? They were cooling down big time for a stretch.
