yup...doesn't look good right now...an eighth overall pick just got bypassed by a college free agent and may also get bypassed by a seventh-rounder - Michael Pachla
Another heart felt thank you goes out to our Lord and savior Tim murray. He really did get a raw deal. |

What are you even arguing here?
There's a time and a place for everything. That was one of them. I knew right then and there that he's a wussy. - TheHank
Don’t have to be a roid raging psycho to be a good coach
That’s what I’m arguing |

Linus Cronholm has been named to Sweden’s U19 team for the Five Nations Cup this weekend in Finland. Was part of Botts’ last draft class. Laaksonen is also being looked at for the first time by Finland’s men’s team in Europe as well which is a great sign. - Pegullaville
Looks like Botts/staff have a good eye when it comes to young defensemen |

Where did I ever say that?
Is that just an organic thought?

Doesn’t seem like Nylander or Guhle are in Botts’ future plans
I think he should at least explore what he can get for them
And even (you'll hate this part) add a 1st if that can get us a “core” guy back
I’m guessing there’s still some GMs out there that would like them - jdfitz77
guhle was on a nice track up until the playoffs when he derailed...freom what I've read and heard (and seen a couple of times,) he's making progress to get back to where he was last season |

I think he built the wrong team for the times and he picked the wrong coach...
other than that he was fine |

Teddy Nolan 3, in 3D. He’ll make these guys work hard. |

I’ll put it this way...
IF Housley had yelled & screamed in the instance u were talking about,
does that make him a better coach?
Or is he the same coach who just happened to lose his cool for a moment?
Not everyone is wired like a Torts
And i don’t think he (or a similar style “motivator” type coach) would’ve done better with these past few years of rosters
Is there a better coach out there than Phil?
Most likely
But it’s the roster that’s still flawed
Yelling at Mitts & Tage doesn’t speed their development
And yelling at Okposo & Pommer doesn’t turn back the clock
And yelling at guys who just don’t have much talent doesn’t make them skilled players all of the sudden |

It’s also a numbers game on the left side though too
Even if u eliminate guys that won’t be part of the future, there’s still
Dahlin
Pilut
McCabe
Samuelsson
Even if Dahlin is moved to the right,
does Botts like Guhle more than Samuelsson or McCabe?
It’s just kinda tough to see where Guhle is gonna fit in going forward |

it's not about yelling...it's about respect...players today can smell bullpoop from a mile away and they respect honesty...if anything, ted was about as honest and up front as you can get

There was a point.
You either missed it entirely or are just stubbornly choosing to argue a different one. |

Q just doesn’t seem like a Sabre sort of hire. Teddy, on the other hand...classic Back to the Future Sabre stuff. |
