Compared to the past bunch of games ? - cabin
Well, it certainly appears the coaches got the message that 89 was talking about. This is definitely different.
My problem is when I look at these lines, there are almost no combination that excite me.
There's doing nothing, and then there's getting yelled at by your boss and reacting by just clearing your desk to the ground.
Splitting Eichel, Skinner, and Reinhart onto three different lines seems is too drastic of a shake-up. I would like to see something like:
Skinner-Eichel-Okposo
Sheary-Mittelstadt-Reinhart
Smith-Rodrigues-Pommer
Girgensons-Sobotka-Thompson
OR
Sheary-Eichel-Reinhart
Skinner-Mittelstadt-Thompson
Smith-Rodrigues-Pommer
Girgs - Sobotka - Okposo
I guess I would have tried to create two decent lines instead of a complete shuffle. |

If Housley was smart he’d leave it for 5 games. See what we really have in Skinner, Reinhart, and Mittelstadt. Can Reinhart put up 3 points in a 5 game stretch on a line with Erod and Sheary. Can Mittelstadt continue to elevate his play with a better linemate in skinner. Does Skinner still create scoring chances and produce offense with another play making C not named Eichel. Can playing with Eichel drive up the value of Okposo enough so that we can ship him out of here somehow ? |

Tage has been playing well. No reason to put him on the 4th line. I agree |

I would honestly cry of laughter if Okposo and Pominville (earlier this season) both have strong stretches of games alongside Eichel the guy who isn’t worth $10M a year. |

I'm wondering if "trade values" have anything to do with the shake up. Aside from the Sabres clearly needing it.
Showcasing okposo
Trying to see what skinner can do without eichel
See what sam can do without skins and eichel
I would be surprised to see less then 3 guys getting moved before the deadline

If skinner and Eichel stayed on the same line, you could plug anyone there and they should produce. I'm fine with Okposo on that first line to try to trick someone into trading for him. |

I'm definitely not in sell mode yet, but if and when I get there, imagine the dream scenario of trading Skinner and then resigning him. He'd bring a first and grad A prospect no? The botcoin piggy bank would be flush to make some moves in the offseason. |

I could see Bowl-U and Girgs playing well in Pittsburgh. I’ll throw in Pominville for Malkin. They need depth, Sabres need a 2C.
Call up Nylander and we have ourselves a hockey team folks |

Pominville is not worth a 1st +.
Conditional 2nd, if Pominville has 8 points in playoffs.
Moves to a 1st if team wins cup and Pominville plays in 10 or more games.
Else it is a 3rd rd pick. |

Don't think it's fair to label the 1st as unknowns. They are +, even if we don't know who they are and how they will develop, from a perspective of pure value, they are +'s so is Thompson.
