Good luck with that KK trade.
And if you don’t want to Boo Kovy for leaving it’s fine. I don’t hate the guy. But he was also a bit of a douch when he came back. It wasn’t just about his dad being sick. Kovy is just about Kovy. Which is ok, but he is a Richard and there’s nothing wrong with a little booing. He’ll be fine. |

should Kovy be about you, or me, or his employers that he doesn't owe anything? no. If I worked my ass off to be entitled to a big pay day, I'd be in it for me too. I'd move back to my own country to make more money playing with people that speak my native language, not to mention working on the same side of the ocean as my family and friends. There is zero reason for him to play here, or anyone from another country really.. unless they like North America, and really wana win that stanley cup. not everyone cares about the Cup.. and that's really the only difference. no one should have their nuts in a twist over that. |

There's a pretty good top 3 this year, so knowing the Devils, they'll lose those lottery spots to Chicago, LA, and some off team like Anaheim or Edmonton, and then NJ will pick one of the overrated guys in Dach or Cozens. |

He doesn’t owe his employer anything? You’re a smart guy. You know how contracts work. Devils were completely on the hook for the term and dollars. Term and dollars Kovy pushed for. His commitment was to play. Not a difficult concept.
I mean really, he didn’t want to be here in NA so much he came the (frank) back after talking about it for years? |

If that happens, fingers crossed, we have the smarts to take Byram or Broberg. |

his commitment was to play, but then he retired and left the cash in the states to get more back home. if he wants to leave, he can. If wants to come back, he can. Is it the best look for him to leave like that? no, of course not. But his type of job isn't like yours and mine. He'll be ok, even with doing what he did. Having that on his resume isn't gona spoil his life. |

The thing that gets me is the 1st round pick. Yes we got Q who could be a bottom 6 guy but we were a bottom 10 team that year and could have had the likes of Pastrnak, Kapanen,Larkin just to name a few. (Conte would have probably still missed on the pick). I guess I’m more annoyed with the nhl or Lou not surrendering the pick after the cup run. |

You know what? I’m (frank)ing done with you. You’re the type of guy who would defend Adolf Hitler by saying he was just trying to make the world a better place. So there’s that. When you’re in hell with Hitler and Kovalchuk, I hope you’re happy...
Seriously. Just kidding. I don’t really care...... Kovy can do whatever he wants. I still have my #17 jersey. Totally true. |

that pick penalty was grossly mishandled by both lou and the NHL. still not sure how you can get in trouble for breaking "the spirit" of a rule. either you broke it or you didn't. |
