On a side note who the hell came up with the bright idea of ice cream in a cloud? Sugar cone, let dough buffalo ice cream with sprinkles and POP rocks with cotton candy around it! My daughter loves it. I am getting fatter just watching her eat it.

Dahlin I believe is already coming into his own. Mittelstadt has had multiple small sample sizes of good play but like you just put it, he is inconsistent.

We have a really young team thats growing . That's what we had hoped for . We waited a long time for this .

With those two we are a perennial playoff team. Thats why I wouldn't mind the wheels falling off the bus this season and us securing one last high end pick to try and round out the young core we have.

However, if the team wants to make a playoff push they need to win tonight just to keep pace with everyone else. Eichel should be on the ice every other shift or Housley should have to answer why he isn't trying to win in critical moments.

They are not making the playoff's bad idea IMHO... its about finding things that work going forward... not short term feel good.

If we miss the playoffs . it's expected . we were 31st last season. Seems we are playing way better than last season. Next season will be my playoffs or bust year.
