JC on WGN Radio, regarding Crawford. "No update, still in the concussion protocol." JC doesn't get too high or too low when Crow's down on the ice doing some drills. "He'll be ready when he's ready." |

You'll probably see some double shifting of Kane. - boilermaker100
Good point. Saad AA Kane were together for some time toward the end of that Oiler's game the other day. |

Any thought about AA to MIN with Koivu going down for the season? Or is that completely unrealistic given AAs NTC and potential value to MIN? - Marlowe
I thought about that too but was hard-pressed to say yes to helping Minny. Wait out a good deal for him but it'd also be easier to move him in the summer than now due to the NMC changes after this season. |

You know, when one takes the time to actually read what I actually said, you would notice that by you admitting I never called out those individual players you agreed 100% with my post - those players played with an edge to their games that has incrementally dissappeared from this team’s DNA ever since. So much so now that they are physically the biggest pushovers in the NHL. - Return of the Roar
No I didn't. You singled out a bunch of players you are now willing to describe as nasty but never did at the time. I don't recall you ever singling anyone out back then as having "edge" to their game.
Quite the contrary. You collectively labelled the team "soft" pretty much anytime you took to your keyboard here.
Also, gotta disagree with your current assessment as I've seen more pushback from the team of late and wouldn't call them physically the biggest pushovers. The team as composed at the beginning of the season? I would agree with that and would make your statement true.
If you disagree feel free to reference Paulr's Monty Python post to fill in for the rest of the argument. |

Watch Bettman change the playoff format to this next year to make it easier for the Leafs if they don't win the cup this year. - boilermaker100
If the series are 2-3-2, I would be open to the 1 vs 16 format. At least go back to the 1 vs 8 conference format and forget the divisional matchups, it's just redundant. |

Wouldnt the Hawks have a higher asking price for an in division team? |

AA will be gone but I’ll be shocked if it’s before July 1st. They way his contract is constructed he’ll be a target for cash strapped teams after his signing bonus is paid. - DarthKane
And that NMC goes away right about then too. |

Yes definitely, but how high is AA on their wish list especially to overpay as such? There's a reason we're trying to dump him. Nevertheless, Minny's prospects aren't anything special. At best, you might ask for Soucy and a late pick. Soucy would give the Hawks another big d-man to pair with one of the young up-and-coming offensive d-men. |

Soucy played with my best friends little brother at Minnesota Duluth. I thought he would definitely be playing more meaningful NHL minutes at this point. He was solid at the college level! |

Every time I look at your avatar, I can't help but think of "Little Lion Man" by Mumford and Sons. Adb looks like that song personified. |

Saw them on Jools Holland the other day. They were good, played a song called "The Wild" I think. "Little Lion Man" is good too. Now that's always how I'll think of AdB...thanks for that. |

Just so I can get proven as a fraud. Hawks 4-3 ot win.
- I Am The Breadman
I’d prefer a regulation win. Just to be clear you’re calling for an OT win, not a shootout win. |

Going to be an interesting hockey night:
Avalanche vs Capitols, Blues vs Lightning, Oilers vs Wild, Yotes vs Jackets, Ducks vs Senators. |

Would love to see them. Red Rocks show was great. They lost something going electric.
You're welcome! |

The mane of Adb and the mullet of Kaner! - I Am The Breadman
Haha I really hope Kaner brings that back, along with the racing stripes etched into the sides of his head. Those were the days man! |

It's different, but that was the song I was referring to on Jools Holland. I was right the first time, it was "The Wolf".
Kind of like it and them going a different direction, moreso than say Radiohead opting to go pretty much for their newer electronica sound. |

I like "Believe" and "The Wolf" off of that album, maybe another song or 2. Just a small handful off of Delta. It's nice they are trying something new, but they sound like anybody else today. You just know it's them by the singer's voice. At least banjos and stuff is distinguishable. "Lover of the Light" is my all time favorite. |
