Going to be an interesting hockey night:
Avalanche vs Capitols, Blues vs Lightning, Oilers vs Wild, Yotes vs Jackets, Ducks vs Senators. - walleyeb1
With a win against the Canucks tonight and hopefully victories by the Caps, Bolts, Oilers Jackets and Sens, the Hawks gain in the playoff race. |

Haha I really hope Kaner brings that back, along with the racing stripes etched into the sides of his head. Those were the days man! - SoftServe
You want a real mane, go look at photos of Rob Duguay who had a flow that puts hockey players today to shame. And he played with no helmet! He didn't have bad a bad looking wife either. |

Idk, a lot of teams are tied and clumped together from 1-3 points from being out of a spot. Not a lot of ruling out with 28 games or so left. It's weird how teams have been dropping and big injuries are coming into play now. I still say we are a tough division, but not as dominant as we were.
Or do you mean the hawks stink, and them getting in isn't all that good of a representation? Probably this one, my bad. |

Soucy played with my best friends little brother at Minnesota Duluth. I thought he would definitely be playing more meaningful NHL minutes at this point. He was solid at the college level! - nickmo2699
Seems more blocked by their solid nhl blueline than anything but I’m not certain. Eriksson Ek would also be someone to target and perhaps Minny has soured on him but former 1st rounder |

David Kampf will miss 3-4 weeks after suffering a foot injury in Tuesday's game, the Blackhawks announce. A source says he broke a small bone in his foot.
AA likely back at center. No word of a call up yet. |

Really not good to hear. I hope for a speedy recovery. Hopefully a recall happens soon. Thanks for the update. |

Not sure, it could be him, or maybe Johnson. I'd rather see a face we haven't seen yet. Who's a center we haven't see play yet? And could possibly have a shot in the NHL? |

Yes definitely, but how high is AA on their wish list especially to overpay as such? There's a reason we're trying to dump him. Nevertheless, Minny's prospects aren't anything special. At best, you might ask for Soucy and a late pick. Soucy would give the Hawks another big d-man to pair with one of the young up-and-coming offensive d-men. - Assman22
Soucy is a D prospect I’m high on. Big and mobile. Possibly a steady 4-5-6 guy. Similar to Parayko?
Does anyone know if he’s related to former Hawks goalie Christian Soucy? He played in one game in the early 90’s. |

Sikura doesn't play center so probably not. Too bad Highmore is still injured - this would have been an ideal opportunity for him.

Be interesting to see the bottom six tonight.
Saad - AA - Perlini
Hayden - Kruger - Kunitz???
I don't pay attention to sides, so not sure if that even works. I kind of would like to see Saad - AA - Hayden for half a game just to see if they could pin teams in their own zone. |

It would be really nice to see what Highmore could do with some extended time up. I would guess Johnson would be the logical call up? |

Nobody that fits the criteria you listed except for Highmore who can play center but is injured still.
Knott is the forward I’d like to see what we have on him. If not him, then recall Sikura. He’s the most talented. |

Okay, thanks. I'd like to see Highmore. I liked what I saw from him. Shame about his injury. I'm curious about Knott too. |

That bottom 6 looks about right. The one interchange could be Hayden and Perlini. Either could be on the 3rd. |

Delia starting tonight. Not unexpected, but I will say this... I think this is telling in how the FO and coaching staff view this season. With as well as Ward played against the Oilers, you would think he would get consecutive games (especially with a day off in between).
The fact that they are going to Delia, at least to me, says that they know that this is simply a building year. Yes they are going to do everything they can to win each night, but they are not going to make any drastic moves to try and get into the tournament this year. I really hope that I am right as I would hate for them to send away high potential pieces for this year. |

Watch Colliton go rogue and put Hayden at center between Saad and AA. |

Lol I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Kampf has played very well this season in his role and losing him hurts the team...but at the same time that might help with us tanking for a Top 5 pick...idk what to think anymore
I would think AA goes in as the 3C and Kruger with play the 4C going forward this month. If ya think about it, his injury couldn't have happened at a better time as it gives the Hawks the last three to four weeks (the time line of his injury coincidence? or lucky break?) before the Trade Deadline to showcase both of them.
It'll be interesting to see who the Hawks call up for the meantime. I'd be surprised if it was anyone of significance since the team is starting to gel a bit. Luke Johnson would be my guess. Gives them an extra C, can play on the wing too, likely gets time on the 4th line or scratched which isn't going to hurt his development like a Sikura or even an Edjsell. |

That would work and make sense to me. Hayden and Kunitz would be flipped however though Hayden can play the LW spot (Kunitz natural spot is at LW). Perlini is a guy who's switched between wing spots, but yeah this is about what I would expect for tonights game
