Happy bday to your daughter. My son turns 2 in a couple weeks, so I'm just starting my journey.

at one time he was 3rd in D scoring till jan 15th ,His D has and is suspect big time
when hot he was taken off pucks or beat or not physical enough to win battles and keep pucks outta net .

Especially since Turris is nearing a return. Boyle is one of the better third line centers in the league. Low key, the Preds might have one of the best center groups in the game with Boyle.

I get the thought process, but one deal isn't going to set a static price for everyone else on the market. It's possible, probable really, that Poile just made a stupid trade and other GM's won't follow suit.

The only problem I see with, hypothetically, Gorton waiting out the market and setting his price high for a guy like Zuccarello is that teams will balk at that and try to go fill their needs elsewhere.

A team like CGy, who's rumored to be interested, may go and try to find another similar player that would be cheaper instead and if Gorton doesn't budge he may be left out in the cold as the clock ticks down to 3pm on the 25th.
