Kessel has been awful for the past few games! Wow he’s just not shooting so why put him out there?!?!
- iworkatinitech

Why put any of them out there. Hell he was skating faster than Sid that OT he could've won it twice.

That OT was the ugly icing on the cake. Not sure what Sid smoked before it started. He seemed out of it. If not for DeSmith he’d have been the whipping boy.

For the record I’ve hated Sully since I heard the phrase “just play”. Now your all agreeing with me when things aren’t all cuddly and great. You have to have some hate. At some point you have to get pissed.

I'm hoping Sully is next. It seems time for the fire coach/win cup formula.

I am frustrated with Sullivan for a completely different reason than why you hate him.

What is Phil’s role on this team? He can’t carry a line. They don’t want to play him with Geno. Sid and Phil is against the coaches religion. Where does he fit? Especially if Bjug is gonna be a wing.

With Geno. He was already back with Geno before he got injured. And I think Phil can run a line, I actually was liking Bjugstad and Phil but they broke that up too. He's no Sid or Geno but I mean he ran the 2016 line.

I’m just saying. I’ve had high school hockey coaches yell at the team I’m playing for about having some hate in our game. High school hockey coaches that played d 1 hockey.

Hornqvist needs to be back on the 1st line. Sullivan keeps trying everybody but the one guy that has had the most success. This makes about as much sense as Cullen getting 17 minutes.

I was under the impression Phil and Geno have been a statistical nightmare lately. If he’s not with Sid or Geno I have no faith he can run a line. He did look good with Bjug for the 2 games but who knows if they go back to that.

They seem to want Bjug to be a winger although he has looked better at Center. They need to figure some shït out and get some sort of chemistry for the stretch. Right now Sid and Jake are the only safe bet.

I agree. That line has been dominant before. He needs to sort it out and stick with it for some games.

Exactly. The first line needs to be Crosby guentzel and hornqvist. With Malkin and kessel the second pair. I’m open to suggestions as to that winger. But find that guy and stick with your top six.

1. Sully sucks as a coach and is out of his league
2. JR made some huge blunders
3. The team is basically Sid and Letang

I think its going to take more than just moving out players that were already gone anyway to get the team going.

People talking about Sullivan becoming Dan Bylsma (which I agree with). I think the last time Sid, Hornie and Jake got regular shifts was last year in the playoffs when they were absolutely on fire. For some dumb ass reason, Sullivan broke that up and dropped Hornie to Malkin's line and Simon got bumped up. Then the predictable happened, they quit scoring. I'll never forget it. Even Dan Bylsma wouldn't have done that sh!t. He's got one line carrying the team and he breaks it up. Moronic.

The problem I have with him changing lines is the over-does-it. Lines, no mater good they are, are going to have peaks and valleys. If it's a good line then you have to ride out some of the dry moments.

Jake and Sid wither either Simon or Rust is solid. They're just not all always going to have great games.

He’s so erratic. If lines or players don’t work right away he messes with them.

I agree I think Bjugstad looked pretty good at 3c.

And we wonder why this team hardly plays with any sense of urgency.

A big point...

Jackets passed the Pens tonight and the Canes have pulled within three points. Big point my ass.

Oh yeah, the Sabres got a big point, too. Now they're only four points behind the Pens.

It is a big point. They were losing on the road and battled back and tied it. The team that finished that game looked completely different than the one that started it.

If they play like the 3rd more often than not they'll be ok.

No Geno or Schultz. 2 new guys in top 9. Playing a team that still has playoff hopes in their barn.

Everyone step back from the edge/ledge now.

Bob Errey brought up a big issue with this team right before Petterson scored and nobody picked up on it. Letang is the only d-man that brings any offense to this team.

Nobody expected anyone in this group to replace Shultz but why can't one of them put up eight goals. Hell no one even has three.

Yes, it has been noted that the D does not lead the team out of the zone, specifically Johnson. But it seems deeper and more wide spread than one man.

Yeah I was watching, heard Errey saying that. I agree need more from the D. Need a bit more from everyone. Even Sid isnt producing. Personally, I think with the personnel they have now plus the age some of the vets are getting to, they have to change it up a bit. Lay back more and tighten up. Wait more for opportunities than trying to force them.
