I disagree. His biggest asset is his puck moving ability which nobody other than Letang brings to the table. - Feds91Stammer
Right, but my point is not about COMPLETELY his ability. I specified "this year" for a reason. Playing 3 1/2 games might as well have been a few pre-season games. He basically hasn't played hockey since the playoffs.
Going that long without playing and coming back from as serious of an injury as he had, he's going to need at least a month to get his legs and timing back. By the time he's really settled it's not going to make much of a difference if they're not in the playoffs. |

I'd take Daley right over pretty much anyone in the current 3rd pair. - Rinosaur
Here's some fun facts:
Daley this season 35.22 CF%
Rikk this season 48.49 CF%
JJ this season 43.06 CF%
Maatta this season 44.18 CF%

I think he will be fine. Sure it will take a few weeks to really get going. |

I read it as: he was trash. He didn't even play.
Sounds like you were referencing not playing due to poor play. - Feds91Stammer
No man, I remember. I remember it all including his mom getting to see him hoist right before she died. My point was he wasnt that important. Same point I make about Bonino in the second run when they shutout the Preds the final 2 games to win the cup and he was injured, not playing. |

Yes, it will take a few weeks, but I think he'll be fine too. It sounds like he'll be back within a week. He should be up to speed by the end of February if he stays healthy. |

I did all situations...and what you did still proves that besides JJ the other 2 are better. |

Well yeah the 2nd run was thanks to random variability and unsustainable PDO. |

They are all in the same ballpark except for JJ. Daley historically brings the most offensive potential.
I think they are all below average overall by the way. Not suggesting Daley is good or anything. I hated the signing since day 1. |

Fair enough. Should have traded for Tatar. |
