I will agree with everything except I’m sure you are referring to the signing of Reaves which was a no brainer by Rutherford. When you have Crosby, Malkin, Kessel you sign the one guy that Tom Wilson is scared of. The botched part is Sully. Never had the balls to use the guy.

I didn’t say he was no good. In a seven game series Reaves can definitely be more beneficial to a team than another prototypical scoringish line winger.
